This last Saturday our sketching group “Garabateando.com” got together at the Plaza Santiago R. Palmer in Caguas, PR. It is encouraging to see a public space in where people simply go for the sake of it, instead of attending because of some festivities. The plaza is very well kept (as well as secure), the water fountain actually works, lots of mature trees and some kiosks where you can get coffee and snacks. The plaza also has some other attractions, as a small aviary, a merry-go-round for the youngsters and free wi-fi. It’s a nice place to share some time with the family.
I’d like to welcome Rochelle Kesler to our group; we had a great time and hope she can attend our future events. These are some of my sketches for the day:
